We visited in November, and the temperature was perfect for hiking – about 55 degrees. Renting dry pants and canyoneering boots from Zion Outfitters was a mistake, as the equipment wasn’t designed to keep our feet dry. We’d suggest renting from Zion Guru by La Quinta Inn instead, as their dry pants come with a sock and foot part, ensuring you stay totally dry! Even in the summer, your feet can stay cool due to the river’s temperature, but if you don’t want wet feet, it’s best to come prepared with wooden walking poles and canyoneering boots. The Narrows is Zion’s most popular and dangerous hiking trail due to the risk of flash floods, so make sure to take all the necessary precautions before embarking on your hike.

If you want to read the reviews of previous visitors about The Narrows you can visit The Narrows’s TripAdvisor page or their website.
