The Narrows in Zion National Park is an stunning hike. We visited in November when the temperature was a comfortable 55 degrees. The river was also that temperature, which was cold! We rented dry pants and canyoneering boots from Zion Outfitters, but a lesson was learned – their gear does not keep your feet dry. After a few miles, our feet were numb. We recommend renting from Zion Guru by La Quinta Inn as their dry pants are fully connected and will keep everything dry. If you’re visiting in the middle of summer, your feet should stay cool with the cooler river water, though you may want to bring wooden walking poles and canyoneering boots to grip the rocks. But if you don’t mind wet feet in the summer, you can opt out of dry pants. The Narrows is Zion’s most popular and dangerous hike due to the occasional flash floods, but its beauty makes it well worth the visit!

If you want to read the reviews of previous visitors about The Narrows you can visit The Narrows’s TripAdvisor page or their website.
